Flashback: Fall fashion

Ok, so I've decided to take a flashback to recap some of the best fall outfits. Starting with the edgy September look.

Toronto Fashion Week Part 1: Spring 2014 Ready-To-Wear

I had the privilege of going to the spring 2014  ready-to-wear collection on the Toronto Fashion Week runway. This was my first fashion show and I was in awe! There were so many different booths and sponsors, Maybelline, Target and Mercedes-Benz! It was like one giant couture theme park!!  Sid Neigum, Caitlin Power and Laura Seigel! Well now I'm hooked on fashion shows, it's too bad I'm young and I can't get into most of them. Needless to say it was an amazing experience I will never forget. Ok time to break down the fashions.

This look is so cool and boho, it mixes preppy and bohemian in a fun, eclectic way! (And I'm in love with the oxfords)

I love this outfit, I am a sucker for crop tops and skirts so this is gorgeous! I love the sheerness of the top mixed with the buisness formal skirt, it is a dynamite look.

Ok this is so spring! Patterned shorts and caplet with a solid colour top underneath is so trendy and in! I also love the balance between flowy and crisp.

This is a major trend for spring, preppy! Houndstooth and a crisp, clean blazer with a statement necklace is the perfect look for any creative office.

This is a very fantabulous look for girls night! Army green is a very trendy look for spring. Balance it all out with a form fitting geometric blouse and heels and you are sure to turn heads at cocktail hour!

A Little Bling Goes A Long Way (Or How I Made Perry Classy)

I have recently found that my closet has been taken over by t-shirts!!! And I was like what am I going to do with all these tees?! Well I have done it, I have created a miracle...I have made my limited edition Perry The Platypus tee into a classy wearable in public creation!!! 

  Well I am also into DIY and cutting up of old tees, even though sometimes they don't always work out. Like in this one you can't really see but I cut the neckline for this and diagonal and awkward, it's a good thing it looked better on!  I'm better at the styling end of fashion then the design!

Geometric Love

So I dress up for everything even just running to the drugstore (tonight's activity) I absolutely love this necklace I got yesterday from the Vera Wang line for Kohl's (I love that store) and it is like a little piece of art!!! Even though I can barley ever find stuff to wear it with! I buy a lot of my clothes from cheap and chic places like stitches, Kohls, Forever 21 to name a few (but I never shop at Walmart, that crosses a line)

Loud Mouth

I am a concert girl (and not just because I love the outfit opportunities it gives you) live music is my thing. My dad is a drummer in a band and my best friend is a guitar player and a local music star. I surround myself in cultural sound and always have. Last month I went to an Alabama Shakes concert (if you don't know who they are, you should) and I wore this amazing shirt with a cut-out back and red lips on the front the I just love!!!! Pair that with army green skinny jeans a quilted cross body bag and LBB (little black booties, I plan to patent that. Wink wink ) and you've got one hell of an outfit!! P.s. this is my first post in which I show an outfit I style and model!!!
